The Gorkhaland Territorial Administration & Ors. (Via Video Conference) [[ Mr. Chandrachur Chatterjee Mr. Anindya Bose Mr. Diptendu Mondal .....For the Petitioner Petitioner claims that, she is entitled to a promotion as a post which is lying vacant and that, there is a recognition for a need to fill up such post by a writing appearing at page 30 of the writ petition.

None appears for the respondents despite service. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner undertakes to have the writ petition stamped and affirmed within four weeks from date.

In such circumstances, since there subsists a writing at page 30 of the writ petition which contemplates filling up of such post by promotion, the respondent no.2 will consider and decide the claim of the petitioner for promotion to such

post, in accordance with law. The respondent No. 2 is at liberty to consider other claims and candidature, if any, in accordance with law. The respondent no.2 will decide such issue preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order to him.

W.P.A. No.6392 of 2020 is disposed of.
