Significantly, in view of the ad interim order passed in this matter, proceedings have already been initiated by the Appropriate Authority at Kolkata on the self-same cause.

In such view of the matter, the prayers in this writ petition have for all practical purposes become infructuous. The concerned authorities situated at Siliguri undertake not to proceed any further in this matter.

In view of the above, WPA/49/2022 alongwith all interlocutory applications stands disposed of.

The respondent authorities are represented.
