Mr. Debajit Kundu ..for the private respondent nos. 5 and 6.

Mr. Bikramaditya Ghosh, learned advocate appearing for the State submits that step has already been taken by the State authority thereby arresting one of the accused. Therefore, this writ petition is infructuous.

The submission of Mr. Ghosh is vehemently opposed by Mr. Hillol Saha Poddar, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

Mr. Poddar further contends that though one of

the accused has already been arrested but another accused is still absconding and he is regularly threatening the petitioner.

That being the scenario, I direct the State authority to take steps in accordance with law against the private respondent no.6.

With this direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Accordingly, the application being CAN 1 of 2020 (Old No. CAN 5230 of 2020) is also disposed of. ( Samapti Chatterjee, J. )
