Report filed by the State is also taken on record. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that police have not investigated the case properly. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State denies the allegations, relies the report and submits as follows. The alleged assault was simple in nature as per the injury report. Charge sheet has already been filed. It appears that the investigating agency has filed a charge sheet after recording statements and collecting necessary documents. If the petitioner is aggrieved with the outcome of the investigation, he shall be at liberty to file a protest petition before the learned Magistrate.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. Urgent Photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon completion of requisite formalities.
