The prayer of the petitioner for engagement on compassionate ground was taken up for consideration by the respondent authorities. He was requested to attend a hearing in the chamber of the Commissioner of Panchayats & Rural Development on 7th April, 2021. The petitioner claims that he duly appeared in the hearing and alleges that the fate of the hearing has not been intimated to him till date.

As it appears that the petitioner was directed to appear in the hearing and he participated in the hearing process, it is the incumbent duty of the respondent authority to intimate the petitioner the fate of the hearing.

The same has not been done till date.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 3 being the Commissioner of Panchayats & Rural Development to intimate the petitioner the fate of the hearing held on 7th April, 2021, at the earliest, but positively within a period of fourteen days from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photo copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
