The petitioner was an employee of Uttarbanga Kshetriya Gramin Bank.

disciplinary proceeding was initiated against him.

The petitioner in the instant writ petition inter alia has challenged the legality and validity of the charge sheet on which the said disciplinary proceeding was founded.

Mr. Mitra, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was not informed about the final outcome of the said disciplinary proceeding.

It appears from the order dated December 21, 2022 that by the Administrative Order bearing no. A&V/39/2014-15/896/F-Saibal Roy dated October 11, 2014, the following punishment has been imposed on the petitioner:-

"Removal from service which shall not be a disqualification for future employment"

as per Clause 39.2.(b)(v) of Uttarbanga Kshetriya Gramin Bank (Officers and Employees) Service Regulation, 2010.

The impugned charge sheet having been culminated in punishment, the challenge in the writ petition has become infructuous, in consequence, W.P.A. 27671 of 2022 renumbered as W.P.A. 37 of 2023 is dismissed without any order as to costs.

Mitra, learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that his client is inclined to challenge the said awarded punishment, the petitioner is free to do so in accordance with law. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
