Mr. Deborshi Dhar ...For the Petitioner Mr. Hirak Barman Mr. Memenur Rahman ...For State Respondents This is an application under Article 226 of the akb Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the Police authorities in carrying out a proper investigation in connection with the Pradhan Nagar Police Station Case No. 791 for the year 2020 dated 14.12.2020 under Sections 406, 420 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the State respondents submits that the investigation is going on in this matter and statements have been recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. In the light of the above submission, I am of the view, that no further interference is required. The Police Authorities are directed to carry on the investigation in the proper manner and take it to its logical conclusion. With the aforesaid observation the writ petition is disposed of.

Since, no affidavit-in-opposition has been called for, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have not been admitted by the respondents.

There will be no order as to costs.
