Mr. Hirak Barman Mr. Pretom Das ...For the State The petitioner claims to have made application before the District Land and Land Reforms Officer, Darjeeling praying for providing certain documents in respect of the land possessed by his predecessor-ininterest. The submission of the petitioner is that, as the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Khoraibari Development Block did not receive the said application accordingly, the same was addressed to the District Land and Land Reforms Officer, Darjeeling which was received by the office on 08.11.2021.
A reminder was submitted by the petitioner to the office of the District Land and Land Reforms Officer on 08.12.2021.
The petitioner alleges that none of his representations has been taken into consideration till date.
It appears from the submission made on behalf of the petitioner that he intends to collect certain documents from the office of the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer. It will be open for the petitioner to apply for certified copies of the documents required by him.
In the event, the petitioner applies for obtaining certified copies, the concerned officer shall take steps for supplying copy of the relevant documents to the petitioner upon completion of all usual formalities. The writ petition stands disposed of.
Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon completion of usual legal formalities.
