In this writ petition, the petitioners alleged that they all participated in the Viva Vocie Test after being successfully completing the written test for the post of Anganwadi Workers 2010 under MAL/ICDS Project. The Viva Vocie Test was held on 5th August, 2010, but the petitioners are anxious that because of some mal-practice caused they cannot be considered and with this anxiety they made an application before the District Programme Officer, ICDS/MAL, Selection Committee, Jalpaiguri,
being the respondent no.5 herein, on 19th February, 2019. The said application still remains unattended by the Authority and therefore the petitioners have prayed before this Court that the said Authority should take appropriate steps and intimate them about their fate in the Viva Vocie test held on 5th August, 2010.
Accordingly, I dispose of this writ petition by directing the respondent no.5 to take a reasoned decision on the petitioners' application dated 19th February, 2019 intimating them about their fate in the Viva Vocie test they appeared and communicate his decision to the writ petitioners individually. Such decision is to be taken by the respondent no.5 within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order after giving an opportunity of hearing either to the petitioners in person or to their authorized representatives. The writ petition is disposed of without any order as to costs.
