Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that although the subject matter of the case involves recovery of 250 kgs of contraband/ganja but so far as the present petitioner is concerned he has been implicated on the basis of statement of the co-accused. There are no incriminating materials and neither there has been any recovery from the petitioner. Learned advocate for the State submits that from the Case Diary it would reflect that the Call Data Records are available in relation of communication of the petitioner with the other accused persons as also there is a money trail which is available and

collected by the investigating officer involving the present petitioner.

Having considered the nature of the offence, I am of the opinion that this is not a fit case for extending the privilege of anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner in CRM (A) 24 of 2026 is dismissed. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
