We have considered the materials on record.

Statements of witnesses show victim-wife was subjected to torture by her husband and in-laws over demands of dowry. Petitioner is her husband.

In light of the aforesaid circumstances and gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail at this stage. 4.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
