The Sub-Inspector of the concerned police station, who was in charge of the investigation involved in the present writ petition, is present in court today.

It is submitted on behalf of the learned counsel for the respondents that an FIR has been lodged on the complaint initiated by the petitioner and investigation is going on.

The respondent no. 5 is directed to expeditiously complete the necessary formalities of such investigation at the earliest, and, if the respondent no. 5 feels that an interview of the petitioner is necessary for the said purpose, the respondent no. 5 shall take steps for doing

so, either by reaching out to the petitioner by going to the place where she is now residing with her family, and taking her and her family's statement there, or to arrange for full police protection to the petitioner and her family to be brought to the concerned police station and return them back to their present residence safely, so that there is no perception of insecurity in the mind of the petitioner and her family at any point of time.

Needless to say, further appearance of any of the officers of the concerned police station is dispensed with.

WPA No. 80 of 2019 is accordingly disposed of in terms of the aforesaid directions.

There will be no order as to costs.

Let photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of due formalities.
