It has been submitted by the learned advocate appearing on behalf of both the parties that a sum of rupees eight lakh has been paid to the petitioner.

The petitioner is an acute financial crisis and requires the money for medical treatment. 3.

The municipality seeks some more time to clear off the balance.

4.

Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the municipality fervently prays for two months' time to clear the balance amount.

5.

For ends of justice, the contempt application stands adjourned till 6th March, 2025.

The municipality is directed to pay some amount to the petitioner by the first week of January

2025 and keep on paying by way of regular installments.

7.

The entire amount due and payable prior to the adjourned date.

8.

The rate of interest to be paid by the contemnor for such delayed payment will be decided on the adjourned date.
