The petitioner is in custody for more about five months and prays for bail.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. I have considered the material on record.

Narcotic substance of commercial quantity has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. In view of the statutory restriction laid down under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

CRM (M) 57 of 2026 is disposed of.
