Mr. Kallol Acharjee Mr. Subhasish Mitra ... For the State Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for more than a year. She is suffering from illness. Grounds of arrest have not been communicated to her. She prays for bail.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. I have considered the material on record.

The petitioner is being rendered medical care and treatment at the correctional home. The Superintendent of the concerned correctional home is directed to render all

possible medical assistance to the petitioner as and when required.

Learned counsel for the State produces the case diary which demonstrates that grounds of arrest have been communicated to the petitioner.

In view of the statutory restriction laid down under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, the prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

CRM (NDPS) 59 of 2026 is disposed of.
