The medical examination of the petitioner is yet to be conducted.

The petitioner relies upon an un-reported order passed by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court on 19th September, in MAT/1332/2022, CAN/1/2022 (Tanushree Halder Vs. State of West Bengal & Ors.). It appears from the said order that the District Inspector of Schools (Secondary Education) was directed to consider the application of the petitioner within a specified time period relying upon the medical report of the petitioner.

Learned advocate representing the West Bengal Central School Service Commission, upon instruction, submits that at present the Utsashree portal of the Government is suspended.

The submission of the Commission has been taken care of by the Hon'ble Division Bench in paragraph 3 of the order referred to hereinabove. In view of the above, the District Inspector of Schools (SE) is directed to conduct the medical examination of the petitioner through the concerned Chief Medical Officer of Health and then take necessary consequential steps in the matter at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
