The only grievance raised by the petitioner in the present petition is that she is an old lady having grievance against her two sons and their wives, who are not maintaining her and she is being harassed. She had filed a complaint before the Tribunal under the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 (for short 'the Act'). However, the same is not being entertained. The petitioner was not even issued a receipt of filing of the complaint.

Be that as it may, this court is not entering into the factual aspects of the matter but the fact remains that in case the petitioner has a grievance for which the redressal can be sought under the Act, she has

right to file the complaint. Even if earlier filed complaint was not entertained, it is directed that in case the petitioner now files the complaint before the respondent No.4, the same shall be entertained and decided on merits after affording due opportunity to the petitioner as well as the respondents impleaded therein.

The present petition along with CAN 1 of 2021 are disposed of, accordingly.
