It appears that they have not received any communication from the respondents.
Counsel for the State submits a report of the Superintendent of Police (Home Guard) dated 15th February, 2021. It appears from the said report that the writ petitioners did not qualify during the second phase, i.e., the written test. The marks secured by the petitioners in the first phase are as follows:

In that view of the matter the petitioners have clearly failed to cross the second stage of the recruitment.
No relief can, therefore, be granted to the petitioners and the writ petition is hereby dismissed.
Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
With the dismissal of the writ application the connected application being CAN 1 of 2021 has become infructuous and the same is dismissed as thus.
