Mr. Kundu, learned advocate appears on behalf of applicant, who seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Dinhata Women Police Station Case no.34 of 2019 dated 09.07.2019 under section 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act, 2012. He submits, main accused is absconding. In paragraph 7, there is clear statement that Manik Mahanta had relation with victim. Mr. Sarkar, learned advocate appears on behalf of State and hands up the case diary. He draws attention to page 38 being statement of victim.
