The petitioners seek outstanding wages in respect of the services which they have provided to the respondent no.3, B.S.N.L.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that they are contractual workers.

This is a second round of litigation between the parties. In an earlier writ petition, the respondent no.2 being General Manager (HR & Admin.), BSNL, Kolkata was directed to make payment to the petitioners on account of wages. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that notwithstanding directions of Court, there is an amount still due and outstanding to the petitioners. On behalf of the respondents it is submitted that an aggregate amount in excess of Rs.11,89,848/- has been paid to the petitioners and nothing is due and payable. As such, there is no

question of making any further payment to the petitioners.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, WPA/212/2021 is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioners to make a representation for any outstanding dues, if so permitted in accordance with law to the respondent no.2 being General Manager (HR & Admin.), BSNL, Kolkata. If such representation is made, the respondent no.2 being the General Manager (HR & Admin.), BSNL, Kolkata is directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioners for additional wages strictly in accordance with law.

In view of the aforesaid, WPA/212/2021 stands disposed of.
