In spite of service none appears for the West Bengal Central School Service Commission.

However, the State is represented by the learned advocate.

The petitioner states that she is at present working as Headmistress in Khoribari J. R. Hindu High School which is more than 90 kilometers from her residence. The petitioner states that she is suffering from lumber spondylosis as well as other ailments and for which the doctor has advised her to refrain from long road journey in sitting position. For such reason the petitioner has prayed for

transfer to any nearby school by a representation dated September 19, 2024 to the Chairman, West Bengal School Service Commission.

The grievance of the petitioner is that till date no response has been received from the authority of the Commission.

Learned advocate for the State submits that the petitioner instead of making a representation through the concerned school has directly made a prayer before the Commission.

No material has been produced before this Court to show that the petitioner has submitted the prayer for transfer through the school where she is at present serving.

WPA 215 of 2025 is disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to make a prayer for transfer through the school where she is at present serving. (Hiranmay Bhattacharyya, J.)
