Even if we discount the gravity of the charges framed against the petitioner, it is admitted from the records that 6 months granted by the Supreme Court in its order dated 3rd November, 2023 will be over on 2nd May, 2024.

We are of the view that the prosecution should be given an opportunity to conclude the trial within the time granted by the Supreme Court. We are hence not inclined to allow the prayer for bail. 3.

The petitioner will be at liberty of seeking appropriate orders if there is any further delay in the trial.

CRM(DB) 44 of 2024 is accordingly rejected.
