The challenge in this writ petition is directed against a final order dated 7 August, 2020 passed in a Disciplinary Proceeding initiated by the Jalpaiguri Central Co-operative Bank Limited.

It is submitted on behalf of the bank that this proceeding has for all purposes become infructuous. By an order dated 14 September, 2023, the parties were directed to take instructions as to whether any purpose would be served in proceeding with this writ petition.

The petitioners is unable to assist this Court and has no instruction. It is evident that the petitioner is not interested in seriously proceeding with this writ petition.
