Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that from the joint possession of the petitioner and others 136 kgs of ganja were recovered from a Bolero Car.

None appears on behalf of the State.

Having regard to the quantum of seizure, I am of the view that at this stage the rigors of Section 37 of the NDPS Act is attracted. As such the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail after the evidence of seizure list witnesses are over. Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 66 of 2026 is dismissed. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
