Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher of Kesharibari Govt. Primary School under Matha Bhanga-III Circle, Cooch Behar. On 11.09.2024, he prayed for transfer on the ground of distance and medical ground of his wife. Yet, the same has not been responded to.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Board submits that in the event such application is pending

consideration, the same would be decided in accordance with law.

In view of the above, let the Secretary of the West Bengal Board of Primary Education decide the application for transfer of the petitioner dated 11.09.2024 in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
