The petitioner claims to be serving as Teacher-inCharge of a school under the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (in short GTA). He seeks consideration of his representation in the light of the orders passed by this Court from time to time.

Without entering into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Principal, Department of Education, GTA to take a decision on the representation filed by the petitioner in accordance with law, at the earliest, but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

It is made abundantly clear that this Court has not entered into the merits of the claim of the petitioner and all points are left open to be decided by the

aforesaid respondent at the time of consideration of the representation of the petitioner.

Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the representation dated November 13, 2023 and the copy of the order(s) passed by this Court relied upon by him at the time of communicating the order of this Court.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
