Mampi Das ... Petitioner Mr. Hillol Saha Podder ... for the Petitioner Mr. Ujjwal Luksom Mr. Dhiman Sil ... for the State The victim committed suicide. She has left behind a suicide note implicating the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a married lady with a child. She has been falsely implicated.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. In view of the suicide note left by the victim implicating the petitioner as well as the nature and gravity of the offence, this Court is inclined to hold that custodial

interrogation of the petitioner is necessary and he is not entitled to anticipatory bail.

Prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.

CRM (A) 47 of 2026 is disposed of.

Case diary be returned.
