The petitioner submits that he is in custody for a long time and accordingly his prayer for bail may be allowed. Learned Public Prosecutor raises vehement objection in respect of the prayer for bail filed by the accused person and submits huge quantity of contraband articles were recovered from the possession of this accused person.

We have considered the submissions of both the parties and consulted the materials gathered in the Case Diary. Considering the

involvement of this accused petitioner and the contraband articles seized from this accused person, we are not inclined to enlarge the accused person on bail. The prayer for bail is hereby rejected. Accordingly, the application being CRM(NDPS)/50/2024 is hereby rejected.
