Upon hearing learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition may be disposed of with a direction to the Regional Transport Officer, Cooch Behar being respondent no.3 to consider the representation made by the petitioners on 10th September, 2021 in relation to issuing a large number of licenses for Auto Emission Testing Centres in Cooch Behar Sadar. In the event, the representation has been made to other authorities, the petitioners are given leave to make the representation to the Regional Transport Officer, Cooch Behar within one week from date. The concerned R.T.O. shall dispose of

the representation by way of passing a reasoned order within three weeks from the date of communication of this order upon hearing all concerned parties including the petitioners, in accordance with law. A copy of the reasoned order shall be made available to at least one of the petitioners within seven days from which the order is made.

This order is made subject to deficit court fees being put in by the petitioners by tomorrow i.e. 17th February, 2022.

W.P.A.282 of 2022 is disposed of in terms of the above.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
