1. Although learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner did not have any connection with the alleged offence, namely, of kidnapping of the de facto complainant, we find that the petitioner has been mentioned in several places by a co-accused. The co-accused has also stated that the petitioner took an amount of Rs.25,000/- from the co-accused in relation to the alleged offence.
2. It also appears that the other co-accused persons are in custody.
3. Hence, we are not inclined to grant the prayer for anticipatory bail.
4. The application for anticipatory bail being CRM (A) 130 of 2024 is accordingly rejected.
