Matter is heard in presence of the learned advocates representing the petitioners, State respondents and respondent no.7.

Learned advocate representing the petitioners at the outset submits that prayer (b) is not pressed as writ petition in connection with relief as prayed for under prayer (b) is not maintainable but liberty may be granted to approach the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal.

Mr. Joyjit Choudhury, learned Additional Advocate General on instruction submits that supply of documents as prayed for in terms of prayer (a)
may be supplied subject to availability of those documents with the State Government.

Mr. Jagriti Mishra, learned advocate representing the respondent no.7 takes the point of maintainability of this writ petition considering relief as prayed for under prayer (b).

Having considered the respective submissions made on behalf of the State respondents and respondent no.7 and the specific prayer made on behalf of the petitioner, writ petition is entertained in connection with the relief as prayed for under prayer (a) thereby directing the concerned State respondents to supply documents as prayed for in prayer (a) by twelve (12) weeks from the date of communication of this order subject to availability of the same.

It is clarified that petitioners shall be at liberty to approach the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal in connection with relief as prayed for under prayer (b).

With the aforesaid observations and directions, writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
