1. Learned advocate for the petitioner and learned advocate for the opposite party/State of West Bengal are present.

2. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

3. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that by an order dated 12.02.2025, the petitioner was released on bail on the ground that the petitioner shall not enter the jurisdiction of Mathabhanga police station until further orders and he shall immediately intimate the address where he would be residing to the Officer-in-Charge of the Mathabhanga police station and shall attend the trial court on all the dates as fixed for hearing. Learned advocate submits that the petitioner being a professor of a college has to attend Dinhata and has to pass through Mathabhanga police station. Learned advocate also submits that the petitioner has to board on the public vehicle from Mekhligunge and has to drop at Dinhata. Thus, the petitioner has no scope to enter the Mathabhange police station although the vehicle passes through that area.

4. In the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is permitted to go to his college where he is posted

but till the evidence of the de facto complainant is over. The petitioner shall not enter into the locality of Mathabhanga police station.
