1. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner was granted anticipatory bail by this Court on 19/02/2026 in CRM (A) 116 of 2026. The petitioner was asked to surrender before the jurisdictional Court within two weeks from date.

Due to miscommunication, between the learned lawyer and the petitioner, the petitioner could not surrender before the jurisdictional Court as directed.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the State.

3. It appears that owing to certain unforeseen circumstances, the petitioner could not surrender in time.

4. Considering the above and in the interest of justice, the time to surrender before the jurisdictional Court is extended by two more weeks. The rest of the order shall remain the same.

5. With the aforesaid observations and directions, CRAN 1 of 2026 is disposed of.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
