1. Considering the fact that the petitioner has specifically been named by the victim girl who was 14 years of age at the time of the alleged offence, we are not inclined to grant the prayer for anticipatory bail.

2. We are hence of the view that the petitioner's custodial interrogation is required.

3. The application for anticipatory bail being CRM(A) 157 of 2024 is accordingly rejected.
