The grievance of the petitioner has been met. The compensation in respect of the land which had been acquired by the government at the request of the Electricity Department has been determined.

An amount of Rs.4,98,508/- had already been deposited in the treasury on September 3, 1987. The petitioner seeks to withdraw the same. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. However, there will be no order as to costs.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
