Chakraborty Mr. Arjun Chowdhury ... for the State Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. Learned counsel for the State strongly opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and relies on the statements of witnesses including the statement of the alleged victim recorded before the learned Magistrate and the post-mortem report.

Considering the above, the other incriminating materials available in the case diary and the fact that a proclamation has been issued against the petitioner, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected.
