The petitioner submits that her prayer for permitting registration on commission before the Superintendent, Special Correctional Home, Siliguri filed through her learned advocate on January 7, 2022 has not been taken up for consideration till date.

The son of the petitioner is in custody and his signature is required for execution of the sale deed. The petitioner is the mother of Pankaj Sarkar who is in custody in connection with Sessions Case No. 24 of 2021 under Matigara Police Station Case No. 568 of 2020 dated June 21, 2020.

As it appears that the prayer of the petitioner to permit his son to execute the sale deed is pending consideration at the end of the Superintendent, Special Correctional Home, Siliguri, accordingly the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 5 being Superintendent, Special Correctional Home, Siliguri to consider the prayer of the petitioner in accordance with law, at the earliest, but positively within a fortnight from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

The said respondent shall communicate the fate of the application made by the petitioner to her at the earliest.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties after completion of all legal formalities.
