For the State Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and in view of the nature of the offence, he prays for bail.

Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail. Having regard to the materials on record, namely, the statement recorded under Section 164 and the medical reports of the victim girl and her mother, we are of the opinion that this is not a fit case for granting bail to the petitioner at this stage. Therefore, the application for bail, being CRM 233 of 2021, is rejected.
