Mr. Arjun Chowdhury, Advocate ...for the State The instant application has been filed with a prayer for extension of interim order passed on 21st February, 2025. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted a discharge certificate of his wife wherefrom it is seen that child was born on 20th March, 2025. It is further submitted that extension of interim bail has been prayed for only on the ground of treatment of the petitioner himself who is reported to have been suffering from high pressure and cardiac problem.

However, considering the interim bail granted by earlier Bench as well as extension, I find that prayer of the

petitioner was allowed only up to the delivery of child of his wife.

However, considering the facts and circumstances, petitioner is directed to surrender before the Superintendent, Correctional Home, Jalpaiguri on 5th April, 2025 positively. In case of failure on the part of the petitioner, the jurisdiction Court shall take all steps to secure his attendance, if necessary, by issuing warrant against him.

With the aforesaid observation, C.R.M.(NDPS) 49 of 2025 along with CRAN 2 of 2025 stand disposed of. All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Criminal Section is directed to supply certified copies of this order to the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
