.....for the petitioner.
Mr. Joyjit Chowdhury, Mr. Rohit Agarwal, Mr. Ajoy Singhal.
.....for the respondent no.2.
Mr. Hirak Barman, Mr. Bikramaditya Ghosh.
.....for the State.
Mr. Ayanabha Raha, Ms. Supriya Singh.
....for the respondent no.3.
Affidavit of service filed in court today be kept with the record.
The grievance of the writ petitioner is that, despite having been absolved of a previous charge and reinstated as teacher-in-charge of the Mirik College, Darjeeling, the petitioner is not being handed over the charge, nor was being permitted to sign the necessary attendance and other relevant papers by the incumbent who was appointed in the interregnum in the said post, being the present respondent no.5. In view of such hardship, the petitioner gave a representation to the President of the Governing Body
of the college, which has not been dealt with as yet. Accordingly, W.P.A.191 of 2019 is disposed of by directing the respondent no.4 to immediately consider the representation given to it by the petitioner in that regard and to dispose of the same by assigning proper reasons, in accordance with law, at the earliest. There will be no order as to costs.
Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, shall be given to the parties upon compliance of usual formalities.
