Mr. D. Dhar, Mr. B. Ghosh ...for the State The petitioner is aggrieved by rejection of his application for dealership of a retail outlet of the Indian Oil Corporation.

The principal ground on which the application of the petitioner was rejected is that the affidavit filed by the petitioner was on stamp paper purchased by a third party and not the petitioner himself.

Such precondition is stipulated in and is part and parcel of the PSU Oil Marketing Selection of Dealers for Regular and Rural Retail Outlets followed by the all Oil Corporation in the country.

Reference is drawn to Clause 15 of the Manual dated 24.11.2018 as also the Brochure for Selection of Dealers for Regular and Rural Retail Outlets particularly Clause 5 thereof. Admittedly, the petitioner has violated the said Rule.

No exception can be made for the petitioner.

This Court finds no reason to interfere with the order of rejection of the petitioner's application.

The writ petition is dismissed.

No order as to costs.
