1. Considering the nature of the allegation against the petitioner, namely that the petitioner induced the de-facto complainant to part with his Aadhar Card, PAN Card and other documents for giving the de-facto complainant a job in the HDFC Bank and thereafter effecting transactions amounting to Rs.8 lakhs from the account of the de-facto complainant but without the knowledge of the de-facto complainant, we are not inclined to grant the prayer for anticipatory bail.

2. We are hence of the view that the petitioner's custodial interrogation is required.

3. We should also clarify that the initial point raised by learned counsel appearing for the petitioner on the amended complaint loses its force by reason of the explanation given in the last line of the amended complaint.

4. The application for anticipatory bail being CRM(A) 170 of 2024 is accordingly rejected.
