It shall however, continue only until the final report is filed by the Investigating Officer.

The Investigating Officer is directed to complete investigation into the FIR against the writ petitioner as expeditiously as possible and within a period of two months from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

It is however, made clear that the writ petitioner shall cooperate with the investigation and in the event he does not cooperate with the investigation, the State shall

be entitled to take appropriate steps in respect of the said order.

No coercive steps shall be taken against the writ petitioner for a period of two months from date. With the aforesaid observations, CAN 4 of 2021 is disposed of.

In view of the above, the writ petition being WPA 525 of 2020 as well as the connected application being CAN 2 of 2021 are also disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
