Mr. Debobrata Dhar, AGP, Ms. Paramita Sahu ... for the State The petitioner has certain allegations against the private respondents. The allegations are purely civil in nature. The petitioner alleges that he is the owner of the land and the private respondents are trying to grab the said property. It has been alleged that the private respondents illegally and forcefully entered and illegally trespassed into the land of the petitioner.

The grievance of the petitioner can be redressed before the Civil/Criminal Courts. The writ court is not the competent forum to adjudicate the dispute raised by the petitioner.

Accordingly the writ petition stands dismissed. However, dismissal of the writ petition will not stand in

the way of the petitioner from approaching the appropriate forum in accordance with law, if so advised. Affidavit of service filed in court is taken on record.
