1. The involvement of the petitioner, as the husband of the victim lady, is specific from the Case Diary. We are hence of the view that the petitioner's custodial interrogation is necessary. Since the charge-sheet has already been filed on 31st January, 2024, we request the arresting authority to conduct the investigation as expeditiously as possible failing which the petitioner will have liberty to approach the Court for appropriate orders.

2. CRM(A)/172/2024 is accordingly rejected.
