Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner had prayed for transfer on medical ground and distance. By a representation dated 01.02.2025, such prayer has been made before the Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education as also the Chairman, District Primary School Council, Cooch Behar. Yet, till date the same has not been responded to.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent nos.2 and 3 submits that in the event such a representation is pending consideration, the same will be considered in accordance with law and expeditiously.

It appears that a prayer for general transfer on medical ground and distance dated 01.02.2025 is pending consideration.

In view of the same, let the respondent no.3 consider the petitioner's said representation dated 01.02.2025 in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

It is clarified that the merits of the case have not been gone into.
