It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is in custody for about one year and seven months.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Statement of the victim implicates the petitioner in the offence of gang rape. His bail prayer was rejected earlier on merits. Vulnerable witness has not yet been examined. Hence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail is thus rejected.
