Re : CRAN 1 of 2025 This is an application seeking relaxation of the conditions of bail granted by this Court on April 9, 2024 in CRM (DB) 114 of 2024.

By the said order the petitioner Amar Chandra Das was granted bail on condition to meet the Officer in Charge, New Jaipalguri Police Station once in a fortnight until further orders. The State is represented.

Learned advocate for the State submits that the case relates to an offence under Section 14A/14C of the Foreigners Act read with Sections 420/468 of the Indian Penal Code. It is informed that the charge sheet has already been submitted in the case and charges stood framed. The case is fixed

on 5th July, 2025 for recording evidence on behalf of the prosecution.

In such circumstances, since the investigation of the case has ended in a charge sheet and charges stood framed and the case is presently fixed for recording evidence on behalf of the prosecution, the condition requiring the petitioner to meet the Officer in Charge, New Jalpaiguri Police Station is waived. All other conditions in the order granting bail dated April 4, 2024 shall remain the same.

CRAN 1 of 2025 is accordingly disposed of.
