The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition alleging inaction on the part of the respondent authorities in not deciding his application for transfer dated 03.06.2022. 3.

Learned Advocate for the respondent-West Bengal Central School Service Commission submits that the petitioner's application is belated and that the general staff nomenclature of the school would have changed in the intervening years.

In view of the aforesaid statement, the instant writ petition stands disposed of with the observation that it shall be open to the petitioner to apply afresh seeking transfer. In the event such an application for transfer is made by the petitioner, the same shall be considered by the head of the institution in accordance with law.

If the application of the petitioner stands allowed, necessary consequential steps shall be taken by the authorities without any further delay.

With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition is disposed of.

Since no affidavits have been filed by the respondents, the allegations made in the writ petition shall not be deemed to have been admitted.
