The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition alleging inaction on the part of the respondent nos. 2 and 3 in not taking appropriate action on the basis of the complaints dated 28.11.2025 and 06.12.2025 submitted by the petitioner against the respondent nos. 4 to 7. 3.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that owing to business rivalry with the petitioner's husband, the respondent nos. 4 to 7 came to the petitioner's residence and threatened her. It is further submitted that on 28.11.2025 at about 8:30 p.m., the respondent nos. 4 to 7 allegedly intercepted the petitioner's husband near Banarhat Highway, assaulted him and snatched his gold chain. Complaints in respect of the said incidents were submitted before the respondent nos. 2 and 3 on 28.11.2025 and 06.12.2025. However, according to the petitioner, no action has been taken by the respondent nos. 2 and 3 on the basis of the aforesaid complaints. Being aggrieved by such
alleged inaction on the part of the police authorities, the petitioner has preferred the present writ petition. 4.
Learned Advocate for the State-respondents submits that the FIR has already been lodged.

The said fact is corroborated by the petitioner. 6.
In such circumstances, the learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that his client does not wish to press the present writ petition since her grievance has already been satisfied.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
